You therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard me say among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others as well… Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David, as proclaimed by my gospel… – 2 Timothy 2

Following Jesus New Life Pathway – An 8 week journey to learn what it means to truly follow Jesus to new life! Using the “Following Jesus” book, a group of 10-20 people meet weekly to enjoy food, fellowship, and finding the pathway to new life in Christ. The Author, Samuel Deuth says, “Following Jesus requires more than just belief; it demands action.” His book guides readers through the steps that will allow them adopt a lifestyle that reflects Christ’s teachings, form a deeper relationship with Him, and navigate the challenges of daily life while as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Each participant is provided with their own copy of “Following Jesus.” This is provided at no cost to our participants, but they may wish to cover the cost of their book and are welcome to make a donation. See Pastor Faith if you are interested in making a donation.

Following Jesus App – An app built to complement the book of the same name, and that allows users to engage with God’s word from their phone, and learn what it means to truly Follow Jesus! This is a useful tool that goes along with our “Following Jesus” discipleship pathway.

12:2 Blocks: Small Groups – Vital to the life and growth of individual believers and the church, small groups meet depending on leader & schedule availability. Grow together through study of the Scripture, prayer, fellowship, and serving. Leaders may use a book or simple study methods such as S.O.A.P. or SWORD, and use a variety of materials with a solid Scriptural basis that are approved by church leadership.

You can lead! When giving instructions to Timothy in his 2nd letter, Paul wrote that he should, “Entrust (or assign or put into someone’s care) the things that he’d heard taught among many witnesses, to faithful men who would be qualified to teach others as well.” So small group leaders are people who are committed, faithful, teachable, and equipped members, who have completed our “Following Jesus” Pathway, and participated in one other group study that explored how to study the Bible together, and/or use the 3-Circle gospel sharing method.
